Michael Corcoran

As a professional, full-time massage therapist for over seven years, Michael has had the privilege of working very closely with his clients. In doing so, it has awarded him the ability recognize the source of one’s imbalance, and honed his skills to help release pain in the body. He draws upon several modalities, as well as techniques he has developed over the years, in order to create a truly unique and effective massage experience. He specializes in the eastern modalities of Thai Massage and Shiatsu

Michael’s philosophy is that the the body has the capacity to heal itself when given the proper resources. Massage is a powerful tool to bring awareness to the areas of the body that are causing tension that one may not have even realized. Once this happens, release can occur.

Michael loves to stretch and move his clients, listen, apply pressure points and has the patience to wait for a muscle to release. There is a pleasant balance to his work between energetic and physical, relaxation and deep pressure. Plus, he is an all around good guy!

Aside from practicing massage therapy he is also an lead instructor at a local school of massage therapy (Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy)

Following multiple sports injuries over a short period, Sharon realized how difficult it was to find a yoga class that could accommodate students requiring modifications.  This inspired her to seek Yoga teacher certification.  During her training, Sharon started to experience back pain, a fellow student shared the balancing, healing energy of Reiki and a passion was born!

Amy Kincaid headshot.jpg

The seed for becoming a massage therapist was planted several years ago--after a couple of very healing and effective massages. Amy became licensed in 2016, after completing the Medical Massage Therapy Program at Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences (Grand Rapids, Michigan).

Amy believes massage can be an important part of one's healthcare, complementing other medical treatments, as it has helped her deal with an ongoing shoulder issue. She has worked with clients with acute and chronic conditions (including fibromyalgia, arthritis, and neck issues) helping to relieve pain and increase range of motion, so they are better able to function in their daily lives.

Originally from the Capital District, Amy recently moved back to the area from Michigan. When she isn't reacquainting herself with the area, Amy enjoys visiting with family and friends, reading fiction and biographies, traveling (Scotland a favorite), and spending time with her two cats, Loki and Fia.
