Can’t break the patterns of stress?!….. Aromatherapy can be the GAME CHANGER you’ve been looking for. The olfactory nerve bundle is the group of nerves that run from the nose directly to the part of the brain that regulates emotions, memories and hormone production. (Pretty cool huh?)

This therapy incorporates the use of Young Living Therapeutic Grade essential oils (much higher standard than Organic) incorporated throughout the massage. The oils are applied directly to the body and the client has the choice between relaxing, soothing scents like Lavender & Chamomile or oils like Orange or Peppermint that are more stimulating.

You will leave this massage much more emotionally balanced and you may make more friends because you will smell SO GOOD!

“Everybody must get stoned” Bob Dylan. We’re pretty sure Bob Dylan meant everyone needs to try a HOT STONE MASSAGE once in their life! This technique is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated basalt lava stones as an extension of their own hands or by placing them on the body. The heat can be remarkably calming and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Our clients remark on how DEEPLY relaxing the technique is, especially during the winter months when your shoulders are pinned to your ears. Feel like getting “STONED” now?

Reiki/Energy Balancing

What is Reiki? Reiki is a very simple but powerful Japanese technique for natural stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing by helping the body to balance itself. The practice was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in 1922 and is appropriate for all ages from infancy to the elderly and animals. Reiki is a compliment to traditional medicine and is used in hospitals, nursing homes and hospice programs. Reiki is administered by placing hands in a series of positions on the body, in a non-intrusive way, to open up the energy pathways. The Reiki practitioner is a conduit to facilitate the flow of energy through the practitioner, not from the practitioner and the client always receives exactly what is needed.

What to Expect in a Session:

During a Reiki session, the individual remains fully clothed. Treatment may be given while relaxing on a massage table, sitting in a chair or standing. The practitioner gently places his or her hands in different positions on the body to facilitate the flow of energy. People generally feel relaxed and may fall asleep. Others may experience warmth, coolness, or tingling sensations during the session. The experience is different for each person.

Less is more! This subtle, yet AMAZINGLY powerful technique  is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

  • Chronic Neck and Back Pain
